It is a very special kind of heartbreak, sadness and despair, excruciating pain, but worse than childbirth or a toothache.

I was totally helpless when my Mom needed me most — all of my desperate attempts to protect her, to bring her back home where she would be freed from this nightmare; she would still be alive, safe, happy, healthy, properly cared for with TLC, 24/7 professional quality health care, ecstatic, enjoying her family, meals, beverages, and activities that she so loved – were futile.

My Mom would still be enjoying life with her family had they not victimized and brutalized her, then fraudulently ended her Precious life.  And, yes, now at peace, no more suffering from the wickedness of another cruel person disguised as a ‘Guardian’ and those in concert with such evil brutalization imposed upon a gentle spirit who would never even swat a fly.

Watching the transition from having a beloved parent who is highly confident, accomplished and a revered mentor, slide into physical frailties and dependency, wheelchair to bed-ridden, needing 24/7 one-on-one professional care, helpless and can’t ring for the nurse; moist skin turned dry, scaly from dehydration; denied the foods she enjoyed [forced to eat pureed slop with almost no nutritional value, the brazen lie to push the puree industry is that “the person has dysphagia”]; become lethargic from having her head held while they forced unwarranted mind altering drugs in her mouth —- is utterly terrible.

Gentle requests to the nursing supervisor  for better care was ignored.

Grievances were filed and ignored by the guardian.

The State hotlines received well over 300 calls yet the investigations were ignored, cases closed.

Interceptions by the Ombudsman were also ignored.

The police closed the case after they took each of my written complaints, at the hospital and at the precinct. All complaints were filed under one case, from 2019-2020. — manipulated by and/or collusion with the guardian became obviously apparent.

Creation of a negative unhealthy environment to promote a healthy person’s decline and the monumental cruelty, deliberately and maliciously perpetuated by a ‘professional guardian’, was definitely not “in the Best Interests” of my Mom nor any vulnerable person – it was Extremely Unbearable.  Recently, in June, I had acquired the hospital records and was horrified upon reading the extremely detrimental maltreatment my Mom needlessly suffered and endured.

Beyond evil, the Theft of her Precious life was of such horrendous and reprehensible corruption.  The question begs, why were they so adamant to destroy her health and to steal her Precious Life?

Euthanasia, assisted suicide, and mercy killing are illegal in Florida.  All Doctors take an Oath to preserve life whenever possible.  Hospice doctors usually give comfort drugs to their terminal patients who are transitioning.   All Guardians also take an Oath to protect, to keep Safe, to honor the wishes of the vulnerable Elderly; and, to manage the assets with honesty and integrity.

July 27, 2018:  The guardian was court-appointed. Monumentally ruthless with conscious disregard for human rights; malicious intention to deprive; too many egregious, heinous atrocities were committed by a very dangerous Elder abuser.  We were her 5th victims, that we know of through hearsay.

Profoundly heinous evil began August 1, 2018.  She was immediately denied emergency hospital care for appx. 8 hours while my Mom regurgitated, pressure rising, fever, then unresponsive [life threatening vitals, severely dehydrated, stomach virus diagnosed]; after which she had the nursing home doctor add to the chart “no future hospital care”; denied the enjoyable foods accustomed to eating; hired unwarranted hospice; withheld the PCP’s prescribed supplements taken for 5 years to maintain good health (including Iron for Anemia and Aricept for Alzheimers); denied the right to return home to me with 24/7 professional home care [“too expensive”], inclusive of rehab therapy [Aging at Home Program]; authorized drugs to cause lethargy; denied Emergency hospital care for 3 days to die in ‘crisis care’ at the SNF.

The words of ‘professional’ predators supersedes those of their preyed upon victims by Vicious defamation.  Isolation to encourage depression and to prevent any eyewitness to the on-going brutalization; then authorized 5mg of concentrated liquid Morphine sublingual every 3 hours given daily for appx. 14 months with appx. 6 overdoses.  Not even hospice gives such extremely powerful doses of lethal drugs to their terminal patients, certainly not longer than the 1-12 days of a transitioning terminal patient. Narcan was given in the Emergency Room along with liquids for severe dehydration; shortness of breath; antibiotics for the usual nursing home infections; 4 pints of blood {2 given immediately}; and then, the wound nurse was needed for the stage 3 bloody wounds on both feet from heels to toes.  —

Against hospital doctors’ guidelines: “do not give Morphine; not a hospice candidate; not end stages of life; no terminal illnesses.” “Keep hydrated”; “float feet, use sox or booties, and zinc oxide creams to prevent skin breakdowns”; “keep skin moisturized, hygienic care and clean the tongue with antifungal solution”; “keep bed at 45° or more with air mattress”. 

Such depraved indifference to life and with moral turpitude, she totally ignored and refused to respect the laws and the hospital guidelines, as did the nursing home staff under her command.  Her willful dereliction of duties and abuse of authority; the cruel, malicious. reckless and inhumane victimization of my Mom was heinous and despicable – she broke the mandated Laws with confidence {‘Above The Law’ status} – very skillfully, very cunningly covered up…and with a smile, at each DNR hearing. After review of the case, the new Judge was going to reinstate me but was unable to do so since “judicial errors have an expiration period of 1 year.”

Beginning August 28, 2018, she filed 3 fraudulent DNR Petitions along with a bogus ‘Certificate of Terminal Illness’ {blank, Never any diagnosis of any terminal diseases and never re-certified in those 2 years} to “immediately end” my Mom’s life, fraudulently stating that “the hospital gave 6 months or less to live”; “comatose”; “health declines, for her best interests” — each were filed after:  recovery from a stomach virus; recovering from pneumonia; and, having recovered from pneumonia.  She consistently harassed me to sign a DNR {goal: malicious Euthanasia}, but I stood firm with the doctors’ decisions to get my Mother back to good health, there were no untreatable or irreversible issues.  Longevity is inherent with the Taino people..

And, within the same period of time, on October 19, 2019, she and her attorney liquidated the 12-year old Irrevocable Pre-Need Burial Trust which would have covered the funeral expenses. They replaced my name with the guardian’s name on the Irrevocable Trust.  I was the owner; Mom was the beneficiary.  The fraudulent Petition to Sell a “Funeral Policy” stated that “money was needed for care at the nursing home,” when in fact, social security, pension, and Medicare were the financial sources that paid the nursing home. Embezzlement of assets and bogus accounting filed in the Court.

As with other corrupt guardians, she violated her Oath to “encourage healthy conditions and to manage the well-being in the best interest of the vulnerable Elderly; to protect, keep safe and honor the wishes of the vulnerable Elderly; and, to manage the assets with honesty and integrity” … “pay for reasonable funeral expenses headstone included”. [violations of Fl.St. 744; Admin Codes 58M-2.009; the National Guardianship Association Rules and Standards; the Constitution; and general Rules of Law (violations of:  fundamental Human Rights; deprivation of Familial Rights; do not murder, do not steal; harm no Elderly)].

My Mom prematurely passed on September 26, 2020. Two years of fighting to save her Precious Life from the unimaginable suffering and premature death was futile. Two more years of trying to get Justice for the Crimes that were committed against her.  Two Elderly people were victimized.  They robbed us of our time together, robbed Mom of her good health and her Precious Life.  Then robbed her of a proper funeral.

Totally beyond comprehension. Very disturbing that the Precious Life of any vulnerable Elderly does not matter.   Such inhumane cruelty is just unfathomable. We are still traumatized, in despair, and in depression. This type of grief has no Closure.  However, I know that my Very Best Friend may no longer be an Angel on Earth … but most certainly is wearing her Crown and her Wings, Safe and Resting in Peace; therefore, Faith, prayer, and the Wonderful memories of the Love and our good times are what keeps me strong, uplifting us so that we don’t fall into the dark tunnel of hopelessness.  Yet, tears ease out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks whenever any of the Wonderful memories try to drown out the heart wrenching memories.

Without accountability — many other Precious vulnerable Elderlies will be victimized, to premature death, by extremely dangerous Elder abusers — the predators are emboldened, corruption continues to prevail.  All predators involved in the corruption of Crimes Against the Elderly need to be held Accountable for their nefarious activities and egregious behaviors of felonious crimes.  Nobody is above the law, they should not be held above the law!

I greatly appreciate the opportunity to share this devastatingly horrific nightmare that was brutally forced upon her.  Hopefully, it will also help to shine a light on the reality and dangers of “abusive predatory’ Guardianships.  Prayerfully, in the very new future, it will be be eliminated.   An extremely intense clean-out task.
